1. Animal Testing
• Animal testing is the use of non-human animals in scientific experimentation. It is estimated that 50 to 100 million of animals are used in medical and biomedical researches. The majority of these animals are rodents. But some researches are more complicated and require more similar to human organisms. • Around 65,000 primates are used each year in the U.S. and Europe. 2. Biomedical researches on animals

• Help us to understand how our bodies work. How organism will react on different kinds of medicines. Evaluate outcomes and make drugs more efficient and safe for human usage. • Also such useful thing like organ transplantation. Some animal’s organs work and have features similar to human. This can sometimes cure hopelessly ill patients. For example heart from different animals transplanted to human also lungs, kidneys. • As progress in medical sphere is still growing, new drugs and medicines are created and before using them on human they must be some how tested. And here comes animals. Because of their organism is similar to ours scientists can evaluate medical procedures before they are used on people. And from this point we can move on to the next…..

3. Drug testing on animals
• Beforehand evaluating helps to determine the effect of the drug and dose-response. Dose is also main factor. Taking wrong doses can lead to several things: 1. If drug is used in small doses it there can be no effect. And ill person will stay ill for a long time. 2. High doses can cause other illnesses and some times even death. • As soon as drug has been succefuly tested it becomes acceptable for use to human. • And thanks for animals; men can use it being sure that the particular drug will not harm him. (Of course if all instructions are followed correctly) 4. Why are animals used in the researches?
