Dear Director,
It is a distinct pleasure to recommend to you Mutinta M. Lunda for the Master of Arts in Political Communication. In my capacity as Vice Chancellor of The University of Zambia I have worked closely and known Mutinta for over 3 years, first in his capacity as Publicity and Information Secretary of the Students Union and now in his role as a Corporate Communicator and Financial Advisor. Mutinta is highly charismatic and very professional. More importantly, he thinks critically, reasons well and has all the instincts of a good communicator. Unlike many students who are not sure which field to pursue, Mutinta has made clear to us all that his goal is to be in the field of communication. As Publicity and Information Secretary of The University of Zambia Students Union (UNZASU) he was the spokesperson of the largest youth movement in Zambia. This role involved liaising with management, government wings, the student body and preparing press statements and giving press briefings to the media. He has brilliant team leader skills and is competent of extracting the best out of his team members.  I find Mutinta to be hard working, diligent and sincere in his efforts and feel that his practical and logical approach of communicating effectively even more so in his current capacity as a Financial Advisor should be brought to your notice. In him, I find the commitment desirous of a good student, meticulous with the right blend of aptitude, merit and determination. His clarity of thought combined with his ability, supported by his excellent communication skills, brings out the intellectual independence in him. His ability to work with his clients closely and carefully is exemplary. With his pleasing manners, proficiency in communicating his ideas effectively, he has established an excellent rapport with the university management. Considering his...
