What would you do to prevent another 9/11? How would you fight the war on terror?
Throughout the book “Understanding the war on Terror”, I have got a full understanding of how the world terrorisms world. The idea of terrorism was actually established several centuries ago. Generally, terrorism is not only practiced by Rational Islamic group like Hezbollah or Al-Qeada; it had been planned in the Nazi, and the Soviet Government before and after the second world war. The dictator of these states such as Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong … used terrors to take full controls of their states. They used many different ways to remove their oppositions. After World War II and the Cold War, the creation of the United Council makes it difficult for Nations’ leader to act terrors toward their citizens. However, modern globalization created a new type of terrorisms which resisted the appearance of United States and some Western countries. During and after the Cold War, we have defined several states which were sponsors for many terrorist organizations. These states included Iran, Syria, North Korea. Libya helped to organized several terrorist groups to seek for more interests in the global politic. One of the most known terrorist groups is Al-Qeada. This well-known terrorist group was established by Osama bin Laden. As was analyzed in the book, Al-Qeada was mainly supported by Taliban group in Afghanistan. Moreover, they also get some secret supports from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia even though these states were announced as the Americans’ allies in the War on Terror. The appearance of Al-Qeada was mostly not notice by Americans until the terrible September 11th of 2001. Americas were surprising when we look at how one and then another airplane easily crash the most and important building in New York.
