Racial Profiling
Racial profiling has been a part of the United States justice system about as long as there has been a justice system. In 1944 the supreme court made the decision that racial profiling was not unjust or unconstitutional. They said it is okay to practice during times of great emergency.

Since then there have been countless lawsuits towards the United States for unlawful searches based on ethnicity. Many of these searches involve innocent citezens who are treated unfairly.
After the 9/11 attacks racial profling has greatly increased, especially in airports. President bush started the War of Terror. This led to wars in Iraq and Afganistan, and eventually about 10 years later the United States successfully tracked and killed Osama Bin Laden. But this also created problems for a lot of innocent American citizens.

An example of this is when a 36 year old half jewish and half Arab women was asked to deboard her flight, strip searched, and humiliated. Her and two other men were handcuffed and had guns pointed in their faces, and the officers would not tell them what was going on.

Even if Police have good intentions with these searches, it is not fair for someone to be suspected of a crime because of the color of their skin. We need to make some changes, and stop uncalled for searches. Racial Profiling
